Close-up
This is a painting i did of foreshortening. The picture drawn from is of Sarah Bush holding a FM10 Nikon 35mm (film) camera. It is painted using acrylic.
I really enjoy this foreshortening piece. The soft colours look great together and you did a good job with the shading on the camera. I would probably suggest you doing more gradients for the skin and on the shirt to make it look realistic, but overall I think this was a good piece.
I remember seeing this last year on Mr.Brandt's desk and really likeing it. I really love the details, down to the nails. I would have never thought to add the design to the nails, it looks really good! I love that color pink as well, i love how soft it looks. The only thing i would suggest is more of a shade difference between the face and chest, it doesnt show up as well on the smaller picture of it.
